South Mason Fire & Rescue is a combination fire department employing 12 full-time Firefighter/EMTs and 3 part-time Firefighter/EMTs.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates who are interested in becoming a full-time Firefighter/EMT with South Mason Fire & Rescue.

Part-Time Firefighter/EMT Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 18 Years Old

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Certified Firefighter I (IFSAC, Pro Board, DoD)

  • Washington State EMT or National Registry EMT

Desired Qualifications(Not Required):

  • Prior experience as a Firefighter or EMT

  • Certified Firefighter II

  • Wildland Firefighter Type II
